Jon Thompson is a multi-instrumentalist musician and performer — saxophone, guitar, flute and clarinet. He’s currently collaborates with Channel Collective, The Machine, Chris Harford and the Band of Changes, and Matt Davis’s Sway of Rivers. He is also a sideman for many other artists and has recorded on over 30 albums.

Jon has created a new project with drummer Justin Leigh called CHANNEL COLLECTIVE. Channel Collective is a collaborative project with unique voices in the Philly jazz world and beyond… Click here to hear their new EP on their Bandcamp Page.

Jon teaches saxophone, guitar, flute, clarinet at The Lawrenceville School and The Chapin School and teaches private lessons in Princeton and southern New Jersey.
